A religion is most broadly defined as a belief that is very important to an individual or group, and more specifically, an organized system of beliefs used to worship a god or multiple gods. In this section, aside from covering the major religions of the world: Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism, we will also be covering smaller religions that are also celebrated throughout the world or concentrated in a specific area. For each of these religions, the topics that will be covered are: the origin, practices, holidays/traditions, sacred places/objects, and any major historical and current events involving the religion.
